Thoughts on vanguard laboratory?

Any competition here could only improve it.
Some people are like "Jano or bust" and I don't think that's a good take.
Jano is great and we're lucky to have him, but it's a near monopoly in the gear testing space.

GuestThey wouldn’t test steroids but they do peptides. They have ISO certifications for real analyses that use the HPLC equipment so they know what they are doing and they get audited for those other analyses. There’s no accreditation for peptides though. That’s not listed in there ISO certification.
@readalot would love them. They do purity, sterility, heavy metals and endotoxins.

Jano is great and we're lucky to have him, but it's a near monopoly in the gear testing space.
I agree I think competition is the best thing possible. Creates competitive pricing and encourages the labs to keep improving to avoid falling behind.

Yeah I’ll definitely need to do more reading into the ISO certifications tommorow when my mind is fresher. It seems very promising so far, they could maybe be a great option for peptides, and seem cheaper too

GuestFDA seems to show an acceptable limit of 5eu per kg of body weight per hour for their endotoxin threshold
So say you weigh 100kg for simplicity sake. The endotoxin threshold would have to be 500eu/hour to be considered unsafe and over the threshold
The endotoxin levels come back very low in the UGL tirz. Wonder how the eu compares in gear
Also they’ve done some heavy metals testing on the peps. No surprises here
As much as people hate on the glp1 groups their testing is more frequent and robust than probably every steroid forum put together
We haven’t seen any heavy metals with AAS. Just curious how the endotoxin compares now for reference against the peptides

I didn’t read much on the enhanced testing because the self-appointed spokesperson was such a cunt but I took mild interest when Jano finally admitted that the endotoxin analyses weren’t possible in finished oils. Lol. Waste of money but Jano offered refunds.
I think he can analyze in raws its just that right now everyone is just happy to acquire raws. Yo-yo didn’t read the room and decided to make this his hill when the battle moved elsewhere.

I completely agree. Definitely the wrong spokesperson for the job
Regardless the risk just doesn’t seem that significant. Haven’t seen heavy metals in AAS tests, not in peptide tests, the endotoxins on peptides are low, and I have a feeling it would be the same in the AAS aspect as well.
The peptide community loved them due them being US based and a fast turn.
There was a period last year where it was found vanguard was simply slapping 99% purity and expected mass on peptides that tested well below at jano and trustpointe. People then did several other rounds of h2h testing.
They were essentially excommunicated from the peptide communities.
If i remember correctly, it was around the time SRY sent out underdosed t60. Sry even came out and said they got the batch mixed up and it was t40. Everywhere tested multiple vials in the 40s but vanguard somehow tested at 60mg each time.
